Friendly tech help in St. Albert & Edmonton

Confidence with technology, at every age.

Hi, I'm Bernardo. I help seniors and their families with phones, computers, and staying safe online — patiently, in your own home, at your pace.

No question is too small. No rushing, no jargon — and you can ask the same thing twice. I don't mind one bit.

Does any of this sound familiar?

You're not alone — these are the things I hear every day. And they all have gentle solutions.

If you're a senior

  • "My phone keeps changing and I can't keep up"
  • "I'm afraid I'll press the wrong thing and break it"
  • "I don't want to keep bothering my kids with questions"
  • "How do I know if that email is a scam?"

If you're a family member

  • "I live far away and can't always be there to help"
  • "Every call turns into an hour of tech support"
  • "I worry about Mom or Dad falling for a scam"
  • "I just want someone trustworthy nearby"

How I can help

Step-by-step support in your home, on your schedule — with a cup of tea if you like.

In-home tech help

Phones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs — plus email, photos, video calls, Wi-Fi, printing and passwords.

Online safety

I'll show you how to spot scam calls, texts and emails, set up strong passwords, and feel safe online.

Remote support

Quick fixes and friendly guidance over the phone or a video call — help doesn't always need to wait for a visit.

Family support

I keep family in the loop and act as one trusted point of contact — so everyone can breathe easier.

What happens when you call?

Nothing complicated — that's the whole point.

What you can expect from me

This isn't IT support. It's calm, trust, and someone in your corner.

Patience, always

I take the time to explain clearly, at whatever pace feels comfortable. There's no clock ticking.

Plain language

Real explanations in everyday words — never tech-speak that leaves you guessing.

A familiar face

The same person, every time. I build trust over visits — not just fix one thing and disappear.

Honest advice

I'll never sell you gadgets you don't need — and I'll always keep your family in the loop if you'd like.

A friendly face behind the help

Hi, I'm Bernardo. I started CareBridge Digital because I saw how stressful technology can be when it's supposed to make life easier — and how much it helps to have one patient, trustworthy person to turn to.

I work right here in St. Albert, helping neighbours feel confident with their devices and safe online. Whether it's a one-time fix or ongoing support, I'm here for the long run.

Questions people often ask

If yours isn't here, just ask — that's what I'm for.

I'm embarrassed to ask such basic questions. Will you judge me?

Never. Helping with the "basics" is exactly what I do, and honestly, most questions people call "silly" are the ones everyone has. Technology changes constantly — there's no shame in not keeping up with it. You'll never feel rushed or talked down to with me.

What if I forget what you showed me?

That's completely normal, and I plan for it. I leave you with simple, step-by-step notes written in plain words. And if you forget anyway? Just call me and we'll go over it again. You can ask the same question as many times as you need.

Do I need to prepare anything before you visit?

Nothing at all. Just have your device handy, and if you remember any passwords, keep them nearby — but if you've lost track of them, that's one of the most common things I help with.

I live far away — can you help my mom or dad?

Yes, this is one of the most valuable things I do. I can be your trusted person on the ground in St. Albert: visiting regularly, handling the tech questions, and keeping you updated. You stay in the loop without being the 24/7 help desk.

Will you try to sell me a new computer or gadgets?

No. I don't sell hardware and I don't earn commissions. If your current device can do the job, we'll make it work. If something truly needs replacing, I'll tell you honestly and help you choose something simple and affordable — but the decision is always yours.

Let's have a chat

No pressure, no obligation — tell me what's been frustrating you, and we'll take it from there. I'd love to hear from you.
